These terms apply to elvidenmaison.com and to everything bought through it. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

Using this site

You need to be 18 or older to place an order. You agree not to use the site for anything unlawful, and not to copy, scrape or resell our content.

Products

Everything we sell is made in India from leather.

Full-grain leather is a natural material. Grain, colour and surface marks vary from piece to piece, and the leather changes with use. Photographs show representative pieces. Yours will differ slightly. This is the material, not a fault.

Saffiano leather is embossed and sealed. It holds its finish rather than developing a patina.

Dimensions and card capacities listed on product pages are accurate within normal manufacturing tolerance.

Availability

We produce in limited batches. When a piece sells out we may or may not make it again. A product being listed is not a guarantee that it stays available.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST. A tax invoice is emailed with every order. Prices can change without notice, but never for an order already placed.

You can pay online or on delivery. Cash on delivery carries a flat ₹150 fee, paid online when you place the order and not refunded if the order comes back to us. Payment is handled by our payment provider. We do not store your card details.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy, which we confirm by email.

We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch, for example if an item is out of stock, if there is a pricing error, or if we cannot verify the delivery address. If we cancel, you receive a full refund.

For orders paid on delivery, we confirm the order with you before dispatch. If we cannot reach you, the order may be cancelled.

Offers and store credit

From time to time we run an offer. Its terms are stated where it appears. Unless stated otherwise, one offer applies per order, offers cannot be combined, and an offer cannot be applied to an order already placed.

Store credit we issue after a purchase is sent by email and is for use on a later order on elvidenmaison.com. It has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and cannot be combined with another offer on the same order. If you return an item, credit earned on it is cancelled, and credit spent on it is returned as credit rather than refunded. If a credit has an expiry date, we state it when we send it.

Shipping

We ship within India only. Shipping is free across India. A cash on delivery fee applies separately, see Prices and payment. Orders are processed within 2 business days and usually delivered in 5 to 7 business days by tracked courier. Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Returns

12-month replacement warranty

If a manufacturing fault appears within 12 months of purchase, we replace the piece and cover shipping both ways. This covers faults in the making, not normal wear or damage in use. Set out in full in our Refund Policy.

Fair use

Returns are for when something is not right. We may decline a return, or refuse future orders, from an account with a pattern of repeated returns or claims we cannot verify.

Your photos and video

If you tag us or send us photos or video of your piece, you allow us to share them on our channels and our site, with credit where we can. Write to us if you want something taken down and we will.

Our brand and content

The ELVIDEN name, the ELV monogram, the wordmark, our product designs, photography and site copy belong to us. You may not use them without written permission.

Liability

We are responsible for the products we sell being as described. Beyond that, and so far as the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the item concerned.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
