Refund policy

We want you to be sure about what you have bought. If something is not right, here is how it works.

RETURNS

You can return an unused item within 7 days of delivery.

To be accepted, the item must be unused with no signs of wear, and in its original box with the care card and the packaging it arrived in.

Start a return by emailing hello@elvidenmaison.com with your order number before sending anything back. Returns sent without contacting us first cannot be processed.
Return shipping

We arrange the return pickup. The cost is deducted from your refund, and we tell you the amount before you confirm.

REFUNDS

Once the item reaches us we inspect it and email you the outcome within 2 business days.

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take a few days more to show it.

Because every order is prepaid, refunds go to the original payment method only.

If a return does not meet the conditions above we will contact you, and send the item back at your cost.

DAMAGED OR WRONG ITEMS

If your order arrives damaged, or is not what you ordered, email hello@elvidenmaison.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photographs.

If the box looks opened or tampered with, photograph it before opening.

We cover this entirely. You get a replacement or a full refund, whichever you prefer. Nothing is deducted.

FAILED OR REFUSED DELIVERY

If a parcel cannot be delivered because the address or phone number is incorrect, or because no one is available across the courier's delivery attempts, it comes back to us. In that case the return shipping cost is borne by you and deducted from any refund. A refused or unclaimed parcel is treated the same way.

IF A PIECE HAS SOLD OUT

We make in limited batches. If the piece you returned is no longer available, we refund rather than exchange.

WHAT IS NOT A DEFECT

Full-grain leather is a natural material. Grain, colour and small surface marks vary from piece to piece, and the leather darkens and softens with use. That is how the material behaves, not a fault.

Saffiano leather is sealed and holds its finish rather than developing a patina.
